Late Night Lounge at the Sydney Opera House was the first one of a series and the whole concept is very cool. A mixture of acts including (on this first night) amazing Ari the aerialist, cabaret artist Meow Meow, excellent drag queen Amelia Airhead, popsters Frisky and Mannish, if you’re into Hula Hoopin’ Kira Carden, chick singer (that would be me) and bloke singer (that would be Tex Perkins).
Fantastic night, Jenny! We had sore cheeks from laughing and seeing you in drag with moustache and side-burns performing Jackson with Amelia Airhead – ab fab!
Favourite moment: Audience members Brian Brown and your husband Paul holding Meow Meow aloft as she sang and ordered more audience members to do her bidding!
